Take a moment with this guide. A well-fitted garment is the difference between something you wear and something you reach for.
How to Measure
Use a soft tape measure. Measure over a thin shirt, not over a sweater or jacket. Stand naturally — don't suck in or push out. Below is what to measure for each garment type.
- Chest / Bust: Measure around the fullest part, under the arms, with the tape level around the body.
- Waist: Measure around your natural waistline (just above the hip bone, where your body bends side to side).
- Hip: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat (typically 8" below the natural waist).
- Inseam: Measure from the very top of the inner thigh to the desired pant length (usually the ankle bone).
- Foot length: Stand on a piece of paper, mark the back of the heel and the longest toe, measure the distance.

Tops — Chest Sizing
Our men's sizes are listed by chest measurement in inches. This is the same numeric system used by Brooks Brothers, Brunello Cucinelli, and most premium European tailoring houses.

A Note on Men's Fit
Our pieces are cut with a refined regular fit — not slim, not boxy. Closer to the body than mass-market American sizing, more generous than European slim cuts. If you wear Brunello Cucinelli or Loro Piana, you'll feel at home in your true size. If you wear Bonobos or Untuckit, consider sizing down by one.

Our women's sizes follow US standard (numeric 0–14). Pieces are cut with a refined feminine silhouette — not oversized, not body-conscious. Closer to The Row or Khaite than fast fashion.

Bottoms — Pants & Trousers
For pants like The Riviera Comfort Balloon Pants, we use the same US numeric size (0–12). All styles are cut to a single standard length with an inseam of 28" (71 cm) — designed to be worn at the ankle or with a relaxed cuff.

A Note on Women's Fit
If between sizes, our recommendation depends on the silhouette: size up for relaxed cropped pieces and oversized layers, size down for fitted pieces and pieces in linen (which softens and stretches with wear). When in doubt, choose the size that fits your fullest measurement — bust for tops, hip for bottoms.
Footwear
The Soriano Suede Loafer
Our loafers are sized in US Men's. Because there are no laces, the fit is closer than a sneaker. If you wear half sizes, we recommend sizing up by 0.5. If between sizes, size up.

Women's Conversion to US Men's Loafer Sizing
Our loafers are unisex in design. For women looking to size into our men's loafer line, subtract approximately 1.5 sizes from your US Women's size: a Women's 7.5 is roughly a Men's US 6.
